My name is Selina Owusu Shyngle. I am 52 years old, and have two young adult kids. I have done care work for fifteen years. I have worked in different sectors within care. I have worked with the Elderly, People with learning and physical disabilities and children. I am a friendly and an approachable person who is always positive. I always find ways of working around a task, rather than making excuses. I am a very hard working lady. Hygiene is very important to me, so that there will be no cases of cross contamination. I am a peaceful person with a bubbly personality.
Being a carer, gives me the opportunity to support and assist people who are in need. This really fulfilled my satisfaction, knowing that I have given help to someone who needs it most. I work with empathy and mercy. I always put my shoes in others, and remembering the golden rule, treat others as you wish to be treated.
I have been able to support and give care to customers to reach their goals, and also gained a great deal of independence. It always makes me feel happy to see the impact a good care could have on someone's life.
I have worked with one care company for over ten years. A lot has been achieved with this working experience, and I suppose I have also support and helped many service users in this care company to gain holistic satisfaction with excellent support and care.
